Hello,
the medication is able to control the epilepsy is a very good sign. The need is to continue in the follow up and take the medicines regularly. Unfortunately you have not mentioned the kind of epilepsy he has been diagnosed with. The treatment depends upon the kind / classification of epilepsy which is based on clinical, eeg and genetic profile etc. I suggest you follow up with the neurologist and clarify the dosage and be under follow up. Switching to homeopathic treatment is not a go...more

Hello,
epilepsia partialis continua is a difficult thing to control and treat, sometimes the only answer is epilesy surgery. I would advise you to go to higher neurologic centre whichever is possible for you for further planning. Agar aap pahle gaye ho to wahin jaker dekho, iska ilaj mushkil hai shayad epilepsy surgery se theek ho sakta hai.

There is no indication suggesting that patients with epilepsy are at a higher risk of adverse effects after receiving the covid-19 vaccine. Epilepsy medications are unlikely to interfere with covid-19 vaccines. This ensures that the vaccine should have no effect on how your medicines operate.

Epilepsy (also called epileptic seizure disorder) is a chronic brain disorder characterized by recurrent (≥ 2) seizures that are unprovoked (ie, not related to reversible stressors) and that occur > 24 hours apart. A single seizure is not considered an epileptic seizure.
