Pl send reports if you have any/ also talk on phone by booking call. About 30 to 40 percent of epilepsy is caused by genetic predisposition. First-degree relatives of people with inherited epilepsy have a two- to four-fold increased risk for epilepsy. Diet and herb protocols may lower the frequency and intesity of fits and your doctor may reduce the medicine himself.

Epilepsy medicine has to be for life in allopathy. Some herbals, alongwith your current regimen, help improve the condition without interaction. Pl talk in detail by booking call. There are chances, say in few months, that your specialist observes improvements and decides to gradually reduce antiepileptic medicine. Pl book talk.

Every individual is different. The cause of seizures needs to be assessed and no one can tell how many seizures will be there. However, it's good you are in the hospital. They will be able to titrate the dose of medicine to control the seizures. Hopefully you are under the care of a neurologist.

Also you had brain surgery in past be cautious before using such addictive things.

You are not supposed to prescribe such deep acting remedies like causticum just on few symptoms.
In classical homeopathy, we take detailed case history of the patient and thereafter prescribe 1 single remedy which will cure his epileptic convulsions.
Kindly share your reports at mobile.

Hi lybrate-user I think you should contact your doctor for these changes. 5 mg of axepta may not really help with anything. You should reduce risperidone further if you want but continue the axepta. Once again, refer to and trust your child’s doctor on this one
hope this helps
