It can be other way round too. Frequent cold can lead to tonsillitis and rest all the symptoms can be due to tonsillitis. Take antibiotics, Betadine gargles thrice a day. Along with that you can add Tab. Coldsol twice a day.

Get enough rest.

Don’t use antibiotics on your own choice because large tonsils doesn’t mean infected tonsils. Understand the difference. Visit an Ent doctor near you and get the child checked. This might cause increased Antibiotic resistance in the kid and can make no other medicine work for him in future. Kindly observe the sensitiveness in the issue. Get well soon.

it depends on the ahi and severity of apnea.
Get a sleep study done and maybe a cpap device can be tried.
