My prostrate weight is 27 grams. My family doctor prescribed me tab urimax-d. Is it right medicine for me. I am 62 years old and fit and fine doing job in pvt sector. I am taking telmisartan 40 for bp. Please let me know how many days I can take urimax d for proper treatment of prostrate.

I am 27 year old male. Around 1-2 weeks I have problem while passing urine. No burning sensation but I feel my bladder is not completely empty. When I wake up in the morning I feel that I have so urge to pass the urine but when I passed there is normally passing urine .when I take so much water then I have to go to pee many times sometimes I have to push hard to complete it but still it doesn't clean well. Also at night when I start sleeping, until I do not sleep, it seems that I will have to do pee. Then 5-6 drops coming out and I feel so anxious at that time. Should I go for usg if yes then what type of ultrasound do I need? Whole abdomen or lower ?is this sign of a prostate enlargement or cancer please tell me? Also no sign of blood no burning.

I have been diagnosed with enlargement of prostate and category 2 fatty liver. Since yesterday evening I have been witnessing frequent urgency to urinate. Even if I urinate properly, still there is always a feeling of some more to urinate. Yesterday I could not sleep properly as I constantly felt need to urinate. Moreover I am feeling constant mild stiffness or pain or mild burning sensation. I am urinating after every 2 hours despite constant urge to do so. I am 104 kg. Kindly advise what should I take.

First of all reduce weight, modify food/ do some mobility/ light exercise/ yog/ pranayam etc if not doing already. Send me psa test report or tell on phone. At 44 age, this seems more so need to be seen particularly. Before you go for all the investigations take above measures and get some simple herbal ayurvedics combos which will try to balance your fatty liver and cholesterol etc. I ll prefer natural way if parameters are not worse. Prostate or its enlargement is not a disease. It is treated only when you have obstructive symptoms.

Hi there I think I am have chronic prostatitis. Some times I feel pain up my rectum where prostate lies (normally this pain comes after a month or 2). And while passing feces some drops of semen also come out from penis. Sometimes after ejaculation I feel some itching in urine pipe. I took novidate 500 mg for almost 8 weeks but no benefit. Then I am taking cefiget 400 mg for almost 7 weeks but only a minor improvement please suggest some medicine.

Prostatitis can't always be cured, but its symptoms can be managed. Treatment should be followed even if you feel better. Patients with prostatitis aren't at higher risk for getting prostate cancer. There's no reason to stop normal sex unless it bothers you.
