I am having endometrial hyperplasia my age is 26 I am getting married with in 6 months. Whether it’s curable. Doctor advised me to take medication for few months since I am getting married really don’t know what are the steps should take to cure through pills. My endometrium thickness is 17 mm it’s diagnosed through scan on my periods.

you shall need to get a hormonal profile as well and then follow up for treatment. endometrial hyperplasia at your age group is not a good sign.

Hello doctor, m 28 years unmarried woman. I'm having a problem called endometrial hyperplasia. It started in august 2019 and remedy for 2 months, which came to an end after taking 1 month of medicines such as- tab crina, trenaxa, cifoclox and cabergoline. My prolactin level was also higher i.e 62.5.the problem came to an end by oct 2019 and prolactin level also came within range. Now, the same problem is again up since start of jan 2020. I haven't undergone any testings but hv consulted a doctor n she prescribed me some medicines like cream, trenaxa, and cifoclox. Doctor advised to totally avoid outside food and so m doing so. Earlier in august my wt was 80 kgs and the doctor advice me to reduce wt and currently I am 69 or 70 kgs. And endometrial thickness was 12 mm. Yesterday 6-10 inches endometrial layer shed off from the vagina. But m not getting rid of the problem. Pls help.

I have been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia and doctor gave me v daily night time for fifteen days so that in the meantime my pap smear and biopsy reports come and one of the polyp presents was also removed on 14th sep but on 22 on September my periods again started although. I am taking regestrone daily night time. My pap smear is normal and biopsy report is awaited. So what should I do know?

Respected doctor, I was diagnosed with endometrium thickening (hyperplasia) one and a half month ago and my gynaecologist did d & c operation on 11 Feb to remove the thickening from uterus. I also had pap smear test and biopsy test which I got negative. Now my gynecologist prescribed me deviry 10 mg tablet. Is there any side effects of this medicine? I am having pcod, period occur 3 months once lasts 25-30 days. Last time when I contacted doctor I asked to use gynaset cr 15 mg for 5 days and gynaset cr 10 mg for 10 days. After undergoing a medical termination of pregnancy (mtp) on december 1st when I was at five weeks of pregnancy, I bled for ten days. Following an ultrasound on december 11th, my doctor confirmed the successful abortion. Bleeding ceased completely around december 19th. However, on december 27th, I began bleeding again for two weeks, averaging 1-3 xl pads per day. The bleeding worsened by january 14th, prompting me to consult my gynecologist who prescribed trapic mf thrice a day for three days. Although the bleeding reduced to one pad per day, it persisted. On january 25th, another ultrasound revealed successful abortion but diagnosed me with pcos in my right ovary. The doctor then prescribed ovuloc tab for 21 days, yet the bleeding continued intermittently—some days one pad, other days two, and sometimes just spotting. On february 8th, heavy bleeding akin to periods resumed, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsure of what to do. I'm seeking clarification on whether this post-mtp bleeding is normal.

Post mtp bleeding is not normal. It could be a side effect of the medicines used for abortion or could be a hormonal imbalance which has surfaced now. Let the cycles resume normally and be careful that a situation for abortion does not arise.

Hi! I have been diagnosed with an intramural uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst, and was prescribed dienogest 2 mg and mifepristone 25 mg daily. I have been taking them since 3 november, my last period was 7-10 november and then it has stopped completely. No spotting either. Is that a good treatment, can they be taken together because one is progestin and one is anti-progesterone. Do these reduce the chances of pregnancy?
