Fertilin is a drug that help your ovaries to produce egg from a cohort of follicle. But before ivf it is better not to use as it can alter synchronise of your follicle especially at your age. But of your consern risk of thrombosis is very low unless you have other co morbid conditions like diabetes.

1) pregnancy can occur only one day of the cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by gynecologist or infertility specialist
2) must take folic acid daily as soon as planning starts.
