Asked for female, 33 years old from Hyderabad

No follicular monitoring after using letrozole, just trying with these medications only pls suggest if we can get a chance to conceive with these medicines, else suggest a treatment to have a baby in our life, its been disappointment as we have been struggling since 4 years after had the ectopic, here in hyderabad most of the doctors are suggesting IVF is the best option, but even in ivf also not sure the assurance after taken. Please advise. This is the third month on letrozole and its day 2, pls suggest do we need to go for follicular study or try naturally.

Hi lybrate-user. Ectopic pregnancy needs abortion whether it is medical or surgical or spontaneous. So please go to obs gynae practioner as soon as possible. There are various complications which might arise if ectopic is not taken care of promptly. It might rupture bleed etc or get infected and people then land up in emergency. So it is advisable to get treated for the same without any undue delay to avoid further complications.

If urine pregnancy test and betahcg test is Negative, there is no chance of pregnancy, however if you still have any doubts get an ultrasound done to confirm for ectopic.

I'm 50 years old. Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis says bulky uterus with 3 fibroids. 6.86.6, 3.8 2.7 and 2.8* 2.2 cms. I have started with sevista 60 mg about 3 weeks back twice a week along with multivitamin, multimineral, iron supplements and calcium, vit d supplements, thyroid med 25 just morning once. Bleeding did reduce little but still there post my periods very little along with frequent urination. Hence night sleep is also disturbed. I do get low pelvic pain and back pain radiating to the thighs. I can understand as fibroids are large it will take time but kindly advice me how to handle this pain and associated little bleeding. If any doctor responds to this how can I contact them back?

With three miscarriages in past what one needs is detailed reports and treatment and not one more termination.

I doubt there is any chance of pregnancy. Though Mifepristone is not a contraceptive, since there has been instrumentation of the uterus it is likely to negate any chance of conception. Even then she can get a usg done after 6 weeks of her last periods. That should effectively clear any doubt.

I had miscarriage without any bleeding or spotting found out in the ultrasound yesterday (my last period was on 19th may, in previous ultrasounds only gestational sac and yolk sac is seen, no fetal pole or embryo). There is 2 cm size blood clotting in the uterus. So the doctor gave me the abortion tablet. After taking the medicine (4 tablets) there was very little bleeding, so the doctor suggested that it take 2 more tablets. My question is when can I try for my next pregnancy?
