Hi dr, I am mother of 7 month baby, I am breastfeeding her, and on 30 th I had got operated for ectopic pregnancy, after that doctor suggested to take dronis 30 for 21 days I took for 4 days and left. After 5 days I am bleeding is that ok?

A o a mam. I am 31 years old. I am married since 2 years. I already have one left ectopic pregnancy. I am suffering from lutueal phase defect. Spotting occur through out cycle. Which tablet I can use for luteal phase defect except duphaston. Can I use utrogestan 200 mg vaginally from day 15 to day 25.

Yes .it is micronized progesterone. But luteal phase defect has to be documented before you start progesterone therapy, by serum progesterone level estimation. If serum progesterone level is less than 5 ng in a single estimation in the luteal phase, lpd is diagnosed.

I had undergone an open surgery for ectopic pregnancy on 10th dec20 after developing complications of extensive lower abdominal pain accompanied with episodes of faintness. The complications arose after taking mifegest (dose initiated on 06th dec and completed by 07th dec). In surgery one tube was removed. Two units blood are transfused. Now I am having hb level 10.9. I am not having normal periods till now should I perform masturbation or normal sex?

Hello doctors, had an ectopic pregnancy (left tube) before six month (treated by methotrexate) today have undergone with hsg test ,in which my right tube is fully blocked and left tube is open, now please recommend me for future pregnancy, what should I do? Good evening doctors, can I go for hsg now after ectopic pregnancy (treated by methotrexate taken before six months), without testing culture afb by rapid method? Or culture afb is necessary before hsg?

Do hsg.culture is not necessary unless I direct evidence of tuberculosis present.u can do sonosalpingograpgy also which is similar to hsg for tubal evaluation.

You can undergo hysterosalpigography now. Methotrexate usually destroys the embyonic tissue only and keep the tube undamaged. Hsg will give you an idea about uterine cavity and patency of fallopian tubes. Wishing for a healthy intrauterine pregnancy after 6 months.

We will give you medicines for withdrawal having irregular period after a stressful event i'd pretty common.
No need to worry about the previous ectopic, it's just that when you get pregnancy test positive, get an ultrasound to locate that pregnancy.

Hi mam, I am in 1 m n 10 days of pregnancy, my question is how to check that I do not had an ectopic pregnancy, in tvs scan which has been done today, is it any symbol that exact shows the sign of an ectopic in scan, because my gyne has said only it seems there is no ectopic, but I had fear of ectopic because I had an ectopic in previous and removed one tube, so please tell me and do not advise me to visit once again to gyne, please try to understand my feelings.

1) if pregnancy is seen in uterus- it practically rules out ectopic as one in uterus and another ectopic is very rare
2) if no pregnancy is seen in uterus blood test serum ria-hcg-beta 2 readings 48 hours apart help
during this time under supervision of gynecoologist.

doctor gave me one dose of methotrexate at beta hcg 388, before six weeks, on 4th and 7th day beta hsg was 264 and 154 respectively. Now my beta hcg is 10. How I get to know that ectopic pregnancy ended now?

There is a definite regression of beta hcg denoting that treatment is effective. Wait for 2more weeks and do beta hcg. If it is less than 1 iu, your ectopic pregnancy has been fully treated, try pregnancy only ater 6 months.
