Hi lybrate-user, periods will be back after 4-6 weeks. Since you had an ruptured ectopic pregnancy you may need 3-4 months to recover. Please start iron supplements and protein rich diet.

Preg can cotinue but tell the surgeon that you are preg the medicines and surgical trauma of any origin will increase the chance of malformation and infection in the preg. It may be advisable to postpone the opn till 14 to 16 wks if not urgent or even later as per the pregnancy.

Now you have left ovary and right tube. Though you can conceive normally there is every chance that you can get ectopic again. Sincere suggestion try ivf in a good center.
