First you should visit an ent doctor to confirm the diagnosis, and to rule out any infections or any other problem in the ear canal or tympanic membrane. As putting ear drops can be harmful in some situations, also if the was is too much impacted wax solvent drops can lead to ear pain also. After you are sure there is no associated pathology and only wax inear you can put 3 drops 4 times a day for 3 days then visit an ent doctor to get it removed under endoscopic guidance.

Swimmer's ear: bacteria may colonize in the ear from contaminated water and cause inflammation and fluid buildup. The discharge is normally foul-smelling and yellow or green in color. Cold or flu: a simple bacterial or viral infection may cause ear discharge.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Conditions such as stenosis (narrowing of the ear canal), overgrowth of hair in the canal, and hypothyroidism can cause wax buildup. Using cotton swabs/q-tips, wearing hearing aids, and the aging of the skin and loss of elasticity can also lead to excessive cerumen!
let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

The ear wax dissolves in oil based solvents, better to use medicated ear wax solvents and then get the ear washed from an ent surgeon.

If ear wax was removed, it can cause a small scratch inside the ear canal. This happens about 10% of the time. The scratch oozes 1 or 2 drops of blood and then clots. This should heal up in a few days.

I think baby oil is best
put few drops of baby oil in one ear ,allow to soak wax for five minutes, then tilt the head to remove oil. Do same for other side also.
