As you age, your skin starts producing less oil compared to your youth. This can cause dead skin cells to build up on your face, making it appear less radiant, dry and dull. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hi lybrate-user,
your description of the skin points towards comedonal acne which consists of whiteheads and blackheads. Use a toner after cleansing. Also check for dandruff and if present treatment of that is important. Scrub your face once in 2 weeks. Also chemical exfoliation using chemical peels help.
You can also use clindamycin gel.
For a detailed analysis an online consultation is recommended to start appropriate treatment.

Your skin could be dehydrated. When your skin is dehydrated, your complexion can look dull, tired and just 'meh' overall. Dehydrated skin is also less equipped to repair itself regardless of skin tone. As a result, you might notice more hyperpigmentation and acne scarring, which contributes to dullness.

As skin matures, its ability to renew surface cells slows down, causing a buildup of dead cells on the surface. As a result, the natural pink tone is hidden, and your complexion can become dull-looking, losing its natural rosy tone of youth.
