Resisted terminal knee extension: make a loop with a piece of elastic tubing by tying a knot in both ends. Close the knot in a door at knee height. Step into the loop with your injured leg so the tubing is around the back of your knee. Lift the other foot off the ground and hold onto a chair for balance, if needed. Dear lybrate-user, thanks for reaching out since pus and blood is coming out of the wound I will suggest that you consult your operating surgeon immediately or at the earliest. The wound will not heal and even if it does different complications can occur and you may have to do a repeat surgery.
This is seroius reason to worry and needs immediate attention. Immediately call your doctor and say all the things occurring. They will have to drain the pus.
