Dry eye that occurs when tears aren't able to provide adequate moisture. Risk of acquiring this condition increases with age. It's also seen more commonly among post-menopausal women.
The eye may become dry, red and inflamed. The main symptoms are discomfort and sensitivity to light.
Prescription and lubricating eye drops can reduce dryness.

Hi sir, don't neglect the eyes even so you are busy as dry eyes lead to corneal problems and further progression lead to blindness. Use methy cellulose eye drops, when you are in driving wear spectacles and check vision once.

It may be due to using of contact lens, long use of contact lens can cause dryness, you need to consult with a eye specialist for this purpose, that will be better for you.

The prob is not in your spectacles. See people working for long hours on computer generally suffer from computer vision syndrome (CVS. Your symptoms are due to this.
1st of all have a healthy balanced diet and proper hydration.
2nd try to avoid working continously for more then 2 hour. Close your eyes or take a break.
3rd Use eye drop cmc (refresh tear or tear drop) 4 times a day.
4rth Normally computer come with antiglare and protection screen. But you can try on your specs too....more

Hello For long work on computer in a patient with dry eyes, I would not suggest contact lens as contact lens will aggravate dryness Try A.cold compresses B use lubricating eyedrop frequently.
