I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Surface pain is usually caused by irritation from a foreign object, infection, or trauma. Often, this type of eye pain is easily treated with eye drops or rest. Eye pain that occurs deeper within the eye may feel aching, gritty, stabbing, or throbbing. This kind of eye pain may require more in-depth treatment.

Fibrosis of lunges, cardiac arrest, renal failure, neurological problems and diabetes are among the most common complications observed, doctors said. Mucormycosis, a fungal infection, too has added to the woes of people who have recovered from the disease.

Firstly I would suggest following the 20-20-20 rule
"take a break every 20 min - look at an object 20 feet away - for 20 sec"
if you wear spectacles, use the ones with blue light filter.
Finally, use eyedrops with carboxymethyl cellulose 0.5% with soc (preservative free ). One drop in both eyes 4-6 times a day.
I suggest you undergo dry eye evaluation if symptoms persist.
(you can opt for a private consultation for a prescription).

Simple way is to adopt basic yoga, pranayam and food changes to light and easily digestible with greesham ritu (summer regime) in mind. As of now start bhramri pranayam and ayurvedic safe shirshooladi vajra ras tablets and godanti bhasm in directed dosage. Avoid chemical pain killers. However once in a while i'd not a problem but do not make it a habit.

Hello. Kindly follow your doctor’s advise as he has rightly prescribed you the medications. Steroids are to be tapered only and never stopped abruptly.
Taking steroids for this much of shorter time would not cause major side effects. So no need to worry. Hope this helps. You can reach me out for any further queries. Thank you.

Hello sir. I am hoping the pain and watering must have subsided by now since it has been 2 days. Kindly consult an ophthalmologist if you still have persistent blurring and watering. Blunt trauma sometimes causes damage to retina too. So kindly get an eye doctor opinion even if symptomatically you must be feeling better, so that treatment can be started right away in order to avoid long term effects to your eye. Hope this helps. You can reach me out anytime for consultation. Thank you.
