First of all it would be better if you would have mentioned about your smoking habits otherwise I would like to suggest you following:
advice:
1. Take proper antibiotic (brand matters a lot). You may use one falling in macrolide category.
2. Anti-tussive group of cough syrup

4. Angipyretics
5. Antacids
6. Multivitamins for fast recovery.
7. Steam therapy.
Although if you find it helpful you may consult me privately.
Till then take care.

Dear Lybrate lybrate-user, grinllictus & antibiotic have limited role in wheezing problem.
It would be advisable to get a chest xray & pft test done, to diagnose your health issue.
You can use asthalin rotainhaler as per your need (for a short period of time).
Wishing you speedy recovery.
