Hello doctor I eat chalk and cement from walls by scratching it and my stomach aches very much. But ultrasound doesn't show any harm. What to do how to stop please reply.

this is a typical symptom of iron deficiency. Check your hb values by doing a blood test. First deworm yourself and then start iron supplements.

My wife had taken cyclopam as she has stomach ache, she is breastfeeding a 3 month infant. Now I checked that cyclopam should not be given to breastfeeding women as in some cases it causes apnea in baby. She just took one dose, it is really harmful and serious? What steps do we need to take.

My mom had mild pain in upper right abdomen and we took a mri-mrcp, in that report it says atrophy in left lobe of liver and a mildly enlarged spleen and gall bladder stone, is liver problem is serious? We also took lft blood test it came alright. And my mom had uncontrolled diabetes and controlled bp. Note: we found about gall bladder stone 7 years before.

I'm 16 years old, and i'm having pain in my upper abdomen after eating anything for a month. The pain has gotten worse since. I ate the pantop hp kit for 10 days on my pediatrician's advice with no response. A uti diagnosed in a urine culture test and a hemorrhagic cyst was found in the left ovary in an ultrasound. But there is no pain in the lower abdomen. Now, pain occurs anytime, and the pain is different, like sometimes heartburn, gas, or stabbing pain. I also have had gerd for a long time because many times the food comes back up and I chew it and then swallow. Could it be because of anxiety, or is there another reason? Should I get an endoscopy?

Hi,
you predominantly have gerd. Pain may be due to overlapping symptoms of dyspepsia (epigastric pain syndrome) or gerd related.
Anxiety can precipitate or worsen the symptoms of gerd. If you have taken ppi (pantoprazole, omeprazole etc.) for some time regularly and have no symptom relief or if you have difficulty in swallowing, vomiting, blood in vomit, weight loss. Then you will benefit from consulting a gastroenterologist.
May need to undergo, endoscopy +/- oesophageal manometry.

I have been suffering from abdominal pain from last 1 year which started on jan 2023. After gallstone surgery my abdominal pain which was started from incision area to stool organ. A unbicicial small hernia and hoemoroids were found. Recently on 25 dec 2023 again the episode started from bloating pain weakness in the abdomen moving to knife cutting pain in tummy further moving to side flank pain till bottom of stools area which is now unstoppable and unbearable. A episode of numbness of my left hand was felt for 15 minutes. The flank pain like tingling on the sides of abdomen feels more while lying on bed the earlier medicine was unable to give relief now and pain is continuous and ongoing feeling burning pain in stools organ. Even a small sensation or touch in stool part makes pain in tummy belly. The stools are coming dark and loose. Could some one explain me proper diagnose which could be the accurate diagnosis for this problem as I doubt about colon, rectum cancer or ckd.

Hi,
the way you describe pain getting better with meftal spas, it is usually a pain arising from some blockage to hollow organ (intestine or ureter).
Ct normal - need to know whether it was a contrast enhanced ct scan and whether any oral contrast was given.
You need to see a gastroenterologist who will be able to decide the origin of pain based on detailed history and examination. May require a colonoscopy.

Hi I am 25 years old guy. I have problem in holding my stool.
