Very unusual location for bone cancer. So I think you should not worry about it. Unless, there is some visible swelling and growing rapidly.

AVM is not cancer. It is a kind of defect in the blood vessels of the brain. There is a abnormal connection between artery and veins which causes it to bulge .rarely it can rupture. Nowadaya gamma knife is being used to treat AVM and is fairly good with minimal chances of complications. She needs to be on regular follow up though.

Hello lybrate-user
lovely report. Congratulations.
Hopefully a partial Nephrectomy has been done saving the rest of the kidney.
This report suggests you have a low risk less aggressive tumor although Lymphovascular invasion may signify some nodal Mets.
Just keep a good follow up every 6 months with USG abdo pelvis for the next 3 years
Regards.

Hi, kindly send me all reports for staging and treatment. Even in stage 4 ,osteosarcoma is curable. It all depends on location of tumor, number of metastatic lesion. First neo adjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery if operable then adjuvant chemotherapy. 1st consult medical Oncologist,

Dear lybrate-user
chemotherapy is the answer. Since the tumor was already removed earlier and has recurred. Any residual disease remaining after 3 cycles can be followed by radiation therapy followed again by chemotherapy to prevent further recurrence.

Dear,
if oncologist has told you that it is not related to cancer, he may be right because bone metastasis makes the disease as stage iv which is very advanced. I hope you have got pet scan done which will confirm if she has bone metastasis. I will recommend bone calcifying treatment for her which should give her relief.

Hi lybrate-user
With the details you gave, most probably your uncle is having glioblastoma. After surgery, radiation should be given to the region of brain where tumour was located. This is the internationally recommended treatment. Alongwith radiation he should have an oral tablet of chemotherapy daily. Despite treatment the average survival observed in our hospital in such cases is around 20 months.
