Cervical spondylitis is common at your age. By changing medications might not help you much. Ultracet will cause nausea, giddiness too.
You need more physio and safe medications.
Hope he did MRI scan, to see weather anything can be done surgically. Otherwise injections to neck will be much helpful.

It is possible to correc the scoiiosis if the curvature is less than 30 degree, how intense correction exercises has to be done on an average time of 1 hour per day for next 3 years time and also proper corrective brace should be used to correct the curvature.
