Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you have hypothyroidism since 10 years and you are on 125 mcg. However, there is no mention of current t3, t4 & tsh levels. So if you are getting back ache and pain in legs, then there is a need to look at those values. If hypothyroidism is well controlled then one has to investigate and find out the re...more

No, because being undetectable doesn’t mean that your viral load (number of virus copies in the blood) is zero, just that it is so low that it cannot be measured with most tests.
The reason why even the modern and very effective antiretroviral drugs cannot cure hiv infection is that there are still copies of the virus hiding in certain cells that even a combination of medications cannot eradicate. If a patient stops taking arvs his or her viral load will soon begin to rise again.*

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
The increase in anti tpo (trans per oxidase) antibodies, suggests that there is an autoimmune process activated which is the cause of hypothyroidism. This condition is known as hashimoto's thyroiditis. There is no direct treatment for the increased antibodies number. Hypothyroidism has to be treated with adequate dosage of levothyroxine, which probably you are doing. It is necessary to maintain tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l. Sometimes taking selenium containi...more
