Last time I got periods between 25-30august, since then I haven't. So I went for pregnancy test on 1st october, it was positive. I checked twice. What course of action should I take, which medicine should I take to terminate the pregnancy.

I take misoprostol 3 tablets of 200 mg on 21st sep .after that heavy bleeding occur for 7 days and stop .and on 2nd oct I did pregnancy test it came positive. Exactly how much time it takes to pregnancy test negative result.

Not to worry, urine pregnancy test will remain positive for 2-3 wk ,if you are not having any pain or bleeding then there is less chance of retained products.
You can get a usg done if there is any complaints, otherwise don't repeat upt wait for 1 month and then you can repeat it for your satisfaction.

Drugs for termination of pregnancy can be taken only under the supervision of doctors licensed for termination, so meet gynecologist.
After drugs, for termination of pregnancy, it is sonography 15 days later which decides the success of treatment.

1) it is wrong medical practice to use termination treatment repeatedly.
2) tablets for termination should always be undertaken under supervision of gynecologist or doctor certified to do abortions (mtp) so I am not giving details of how to take.

The clots may have been discharged but even if they have not been discharged, just wait for the next periods. Immediately after termination if you get usg done, it may not present an accurate picture. Always advisable to wait for the next periods to come. Unless there are symptoms like continued bleeding or pain.
