Although it has been mainly been discomfort for me and some pain for the past three months, I initially injured it around six months ago which after like 2 months it felt better I could walk on it and things I have been experiencing ongoing discomfort in my achilles tt tends to bother me, even while just sitting there have also been instances where I feel like I may have slightly re-aggravated the injury. Considering the timeline of the injury, the persistent discomfort, and the possibility of re-aggravation, I would greatly appreciate your professional opinion on the best course of action. Should I continue with exercises or consider a period of rest to allow for further healing? Your guidance would be immensely helpful in managing this condition effectively.

It depends on how it is broken. It doesn't seem emergency how you presented. Normal fractures heal by themselves. Plaster keeps them in position and immobile. Some herbs should be taken for fast and strong healing.

Never do hot formentation for swelling keep your foot submerged in ice cold water or apply ice pack on the foot 3-4 times in a day and then raise your legs on 3-4 pillows and keep it whole night all swelling will get reduced the next day.

The goal of fracture treatment is to allow the bone to heal and fuse back together. Often, this can be accomplished by immobilizing the bone for several months with the help of a cast and splint. The more severe the fracture is, the more likely it is that surgery will be recommended.
