Hi, in recent blood report my platelets counts is 128 on scale of 150-450. And mean platelet volume (mpv) is 13.30 on scale of 6.50-12.00. 6 month ago also my platelets counts were low (i.e 120). What could be the reason? Do I need any medication? I am physically fit and regularly go to gym, clean diet, no smoking, no alcohol. Still my platelet counts are low.

No worries. Average count remains low for many person. Also some cbc machines do range from 1 lac to 4 lac.

When I did blood test in my college there I found that the platelets count was 70000 but when was did same thing in outside there I found 160000 and again after one week later I did the same blood test in my college again I found that the platelets count was 75000. What's the reason behind the increasing and decreasing the platelets.

People with typhoid fever usually have a sustained fever as high as 103 f-104 f
a fall in the count of platelet may lead to severe weakness until complete recovery. So there should be an adequate platelets count in your blood cells.

My brother age is 32 his platelet count was 160000 on 13th of this month n today morning he suddenly fall down while walking and after falling his toilet n latrine came out suddenly after check-up Dr. said for more blood test his platelet count came 45000 and total WBC came 2530 rest all are in limit he is admitted to hospital and one Dr. says not to worry but another Dr. says its very risky and serious his blood pressure is 90/60. I am worried please help me is it risky or can be cover.

No nothing to bother, if your fever was diagnosed as dengue & have platelet count, as fever got platelet will come up on its own, because our bone marrow give rise all cells of blood which get suppresed during dengue fever so platelet comes down. Your platelet is not very less, it is enough for a person to survive properly.
