Hello doctor, hope you are doing well! I am writing to seek your help and consultation in my grandmother’s case. She has been admitted to a hospital in bathinda for treatment on 15th february 2020 right after she collapsed. After consultation with 3 different doctors, we are transferring her from one hospital to another. First doctor told us that she has fluid in her lungs and she needs oxygen, so he referred her to a private hospital to put her on ventilator. She was on ventilator for 2 days, then after ct scan that doctor referred her to another doctor who is a lungs specialist. He removed her from ventilation and put her in icu. While she was in icu, she had paralysis attack at night on 17th february 2020. Doctors told us that situation is under control, but she does’t look fine. They are feeding her through pipe. The doctors in bathinda shifted her to the normal ward and last night she had great difficulty in breathing. We live in malout (punjab) and I believe that frequent travelling is causing her harm. I really trust the doctors in pgimr and I just need your opinion on the reports we have, as we believe that we are being misled.

Hello user.
I can understand your confusion and fear.
They are very natural.
But in such cases reports only are not enough and actual patient examination is very much required.
Better consult a local doctor for second opinion.

Osteosarcoma is often treated with a combination of therapies that can include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Most patients with high grade tumors receive about three months of chemotherapy, known as neo-adjuvant therapy, before surgery.

Sepsis is the result of an infection, and causes drastic changes in the body. It can be very dangerous and potentially life-threatening. It occurs when chemicals that fight infection by triggering inflammatory reactions are released into the bloodstream. It is thought that the inflammation resulting from sepsis causes tiny blood clots to form. This can block oxygen and nutrients from reaching vital organs. Severe sepsis is defined as sepsis with evidence of organ damage that usually affects the ...more

An expecting mother runs the risk of suffering from a range of complications during and after pregnancy. You were very wrong to think childbirth is about antenatal care and once the baby is born, the mother is safe from danger. Both C- Sections and vaginal deliveries take into account the hovering threat of impediments. Sudden problems like perineal lacerations, amniotic cavity issues, umbilical cord issues, abnormal fetal heart rate, and stalled labor might be experienced during giving birth to...more
