Asked for Male, 31 years old from Bangalore

Hi Doctors, My nose will be blocked all 365 days. Either left nose or right nose. Sometimes both. have dust allergy also. I will also get cold easily. most of the time I breath through my mouth. Will there be any side effect of breathing through mouth? I showed to ent in one good hospital. he said I have dns (deviated nose spectral). He didn't take xray just saw the nose and immediate said dns. Also, he said he can operate it. 100% assurance can't give tat after the surgery I will be able to breathe easily. Don't know whether to trust this doc. My parents are objecting me taking this surgery. They are suggesting homeopathy. Shall I go for the surgery? PS: I have breathing problem since my childhood

Hello Akshay. As per your history it appears that you are having a deviated nasal septum as a cause of persistent nasal obstruction. Since you are also having allergic rhinitis , coexisting sinus pathology and other nasal conditions should be ruled out (and treated ,) by clinical history , examination and appropriate radiological examination , before going for surgery. Constant mouth breathing leads to dryness of the throat and also predisposes an individual to recurrent throat infections.

Dear All, I earlier had submitted my question that I am having headache from past 12 years which used to occur once a month earlier, then once a week, later every day and now it's constant. I consulted a doctor who told me without any tests that I have anxiety issues and gave me medicines. Initially, it helped me but now the situation got worse and I am constantly having headache. Recently I visited a big hospital about 10 days ago who did my MRI and told me brain has no issues but there is a DNS. He advised me to take medicines for about 6 to 8 months. I want to understand what is DNS. Can that be corrected permanently or would the medication go for a life time. Is there any extra care that I need to take?

I have DNS to right side with nasal bony spur on right side a along with right maxillary and ethmoidal sinusitis. I had been diagnosed with sinus 8 years back when I was feeling heavy headed and after medication it subsided. But 4 years before I started having severe dizziness and headache which was diagnosed as Migrainous Vertigo. Recently I had started having pain in cheek bones tinnitus in ear with pain on right as well as left side. Dear sir/madam I am working in pharma company since from 6 years in shift wise duty so I am suffering from allergy, since from 1 and half year symptoms like watery runny nose sneezing itching eyes eye redness repeatedly and that will be cure temporarily by taking levocetirizine tablets only no other medicine works like Allegra 120 ,fluticasone nasal spray and azelastine HCL and fluticasone spray I consult so many ENT doctor's some r told allergy is lifelong some told you have DNS ,some told DNS is not your problem it is since From birth another one symptoms repeatedly suffering from blisters (pimples on upper lips) so kindly give me some suggestions.

I am 24 years old. (male) I have severe dark circles for the last few years now and even the skin there has become wrinkly. I eat healthy food. Have an ideal bmi and play football regularly as well. I believe I have very sensitive skin and pigmentation (tanning) occurs very frequently. I used a eye contour gel called depiwhite for 6 months but it didn' t help. Don' t have any family history of dark circles as such. But I have a condition called dns. But it' s not so severe.

My 16 years old son is having allergy during early mornings and later in the evening have repetitive sneezing, is having headache regularly and some time nose bleeds from left nostril he gets easily fatigued and he complains of ankle pain. A lot of antibiotics have been given but only temporary relief docs prescribed dns and advise for surgery what should I do for his health. 1.st day headache weakness fever 2 and 3rd day vomiting 10 times and water diarrhoea greenish color. 10 minutes after I eat or drink I am getting diarrhoea which I took orally.
