Please starts physio therapy treatment, weight reduction, regular physical activities, dietary modifications, ergonomic modifications, postural corrections and lifestyle modifications along with orthopaedic doctor treatment. Regular check-ups are must be required. Regular physical therapy home ex's are very important. Don't be forget.

For slip disc only medicines can not help, you need to maintain proper posture, must takr calcium and vitamins rich diet and apply hot pack twice a day to reduce pain if feeling severe.

You have not mentioned symptoms. Did your ortho suggested surgery? Below are exercises that strengthen the lower back and help manage lower back pain:
1. Bridges—lie on the ground and bend the knees, placing the feet flat on the floor hip-width apart.
Press the feet into the floor, keeping the arms by the sides.
Raise the buttocks off the ground until the body forms a straight line from the shoulders to the knees.
Squeeze the buttocks with the shoulders remaining on the floor.more
