I have seen the details given. There is no mention of actual glucose levels (fasting, PP or random), without that information, it is difficult give any suggestion. As regards taking protein powder those recommended for diabetes can be taken. But if proteins are required, it is better to use eggs on routine basis. Thanks.

Since you are pregnant it is very important to maintain tsh around 3 mu/l all throughout the gestation period. That will help proper fetal growth, prevent any problem related to hypothyroidism and helps in expected out come of the pregnancy. You have only mentioned about the dosage of levothyroxine. Most important is to maintain tsh (<2 mu/l). As regards taking tablet thyropace, it has no real role in treating hypothyroidism. So if you are not able to tolerate i...more
