Hi, i'm 14 years old female and i'm going through something unusual. I am not able to sleep like normal teenagers, I don't know why it's happening. I go to bed daily at 11 pm and I am even tired too after spending time in online class and writing tons of assignments the whole day, but when I lie down on bed, I just can't sleep. I'm up the whole night just lying in bed until morning. This happens day after another, like if I am not able to sleep one night, i'll definitely sleep the next night normally for 8 hours. I am really concerned because staying up the entire night even though I am tired, does not sound like normal insomnia to me at all. Please help me what should I do in such situation.

Do you nap in daytime or do you sleep till late in morning. If yes then stop it. U need to change your habits. Try to go to bed early. Stop watching tv or mobile phone etc atleast an hour before going to sleep. Drink warm milk before going to bed. Even if you not able to sleep do not start chatting on what's app or face book etc. Don't sleep till late in morning. Eat healthy well balanced food. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before bed time. Also dinner should be light do some kind of exercise daily. Slowly your sleeping timings will change. It will take time. Have patience. 1.no alcohol 3. No smoking/ tobacco/drugs/ avoid pollution 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. I'm experiencing excessive sleepiness since one month. I never used to feel sleepy. But it happened and I can't open my eyes. No matter how much I sleep my eyes are always feeling so heavy and I feel like sleeping. I have to struggle a lot to open them I was taking anti-anxiety and anti-depressants for a long time. Maybe from 2k18 then I left in between and again started in 2k19 then again left in between. I went to my psychiatrist for this issue he gave me some medication but it didn't work. I feel like giving up and I feel hopeless all the time. I also have hypothyroidism but i'm extremely thin. I take thyronorm 25 mcg. I'm feeling like everything is over because i'm not able to do anything. I just keep on struggling and crying because I read online and there was written that's there's no medication for hypersomnia. Please help me I don't know what I should do or I will do if I don't get treated. I don't want to stay like this. It hurts. Please tell me is it curable?

I have restless legs while sitting generally, very often, and when I go to sleep I just can't lie still I need to continuously wave my body to and fro. It's a compulsion kind of thing, moreover while even studying if I can't move my leg I often wave upper portion of body anyhow to feel little more okay than I would otherwise. I'm feeling extremely sleepy and tired since a month. I don't know why is it happening. I'm not able to stay awake. I feel very tired and I sleep. But I was never like this, I didn't sleep at night and I was able to stay awake in the morning but suddenly this happened. I was on antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication for some time but I left the treatment in between. I also have hypothyroidism for which I take thyronorm 25 mcg. Even tho i'm extremely thin. I'm just getting depressed and suicidal because i'm not able to stay awake and I feel sleepy all the time. Is it narcolepsy or hypersomnia? Is there no medication for this? Please can you help me, I don't know what to do or where to go. I read somewhere that there is no medication for this and i'm feeling helpless. Why is this happening, will it get ok? I consulted my psychiatrist and he gave me some anti-anxiety medication. He said i'll get better but i'm not getting better. Please help me.
