Doctors, on 2018 I was having tb but got cure in 6 months again I have tested recently for tb but it's was negative. I am eating properly but not able to put weight don't know why, before I was having a athletic physic, but now I became very thin. And can't put weight. And honestly I have habit of boozing and smoking. Please help and advice I will do whatever required to put on weight as before please suggest and advice.

Because of 6 month long therapy your immune system and gut flora is disturbed. Add high protein diet like egg, cheese,chicken and curd in your diet with iron rich food like pomegranate juice, dates, spinach juice and nuts in your diets.

I am tuberculosis patient. My treatment going for two months. Doctor diagnose tb through hrct. because afb test negative. Mantoux test positive. Some one sugest second opinion to consult another one. Second opinion that take att medication continue. After two months repeat anther ct scan and difference both of them. First ct scan seen few mediastinal node 4 mm with density. My question is can I go for anther ct scan. Pls advice.

The commonest route of transmission is usually secondary to ingestion of the infected material along with associated intestinal tb. Hematogenous route of transmission and contiguous spread from adjacent affected abdominal organ can also occur.

Taking cough syrups may help relieve cough temporarily but the actual relief will be seen only with att. So keep on taking the att under supervision and continue follow ups.

I have to attend for physical test (running 1.6 km in 8 minute) for the job sss gd. Can I go for the physical test or not? Please suggest me.

There is no special food that is required by a person with tb. A person with tb does not need special food, although they they should try and have a balanced diet.

From last one month first doctor suggested me to take akurit 4 (3 tablets) then after 5 days he suggested me to take ripe fd (2 tablets empty stomach) I ate it for 25 days. And now again he asked me to take akurit 4 (3 tablet) empty stomach with levoflox 500 mg (one time in a day) and some other medicines like olpred d 6 mg (steroid), benadon 40 mg one per day, megarol 2 times a day, oxyred 2 times a day, suffering from extra pulmonary tb (swollen lymph node in neck) please suggest if i'm going on the right path because I don't want my normal tb to become mdr case as it's too scary. And now i'm seriously so scared please help.

While it is not actually recommend to give levoflox without culture sensitivity done for tuberculosis drugs
if the symptoms are getting improved you can discontinue it after full 1 month.
