Hello lybrate-user, filariasis has got nothing to do with what you eat. If you are positive for filariasis infection you can effectively treat it with medicine. If you already got lymphedema associated with filariasis disease, then it can't be cured. Please get proper medical help.

Apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from readymade gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your face skin. Wash with plain water after an hour.

Sir, I am using depiwhite cream on cheeks for melasma after disappearing does it make patches on my skin? After the treatment which facewash I should use please suggest me skin care routine so that melasma do not come again and again. I am struggling since from 2 years. Right now from past 2 years I am using mamaearth face wash ,carylite skin lightning cream, dershine moisturizer. I am full on confusion .suggest me a good skin care routine.

I need a permanent advice as how to get a melasma free clear skin, I hv used melalite and elocon, it helps only as long as I am using them and then I tried trauma and kojic for month (it brought no result at all. Health Query

Hi doctor, my father is 68 years old. She is having filariasis (both legs) from past 15+ years. Recently, she suffered with sciatica pain. Even after lot of medication, she is still having saviour pain above knee area and unable to sleep in same position for more than 10-15 mins. Please suggest the best doctor can be approached for this type of problem in hyderabad, india.

As your father have filariasis on both legs for 15 years and sciatica -recently --i recommend a check-up by a good medical consultant first. Then you may have to go to neurologist / ortho doctor/ podiatrist-- as per his findings --all such doctors are available in good medical colleges and terciary care hospitals.
