Hi, As based on this report there is no need to go for dialysis now. For adults, dialysis is recommended when the estimated glomerular filtration rate (gfr) levels reach approximately 10.0 ml/min. The serum creatinine and bun/creatinine tests are usually performed during regular blood work.

Diabetes and hypertension, if poorly controlled, will lead to kidney failure in 5-10 years or earlier. There need not be any symptoms that may indicate kidney problem until a late stage requiring dialysis. At this stage fluid can form in lungs and bleeding tendency can occur.

The blood pressure is high which is apparently not responding to amloz-l 5 mg and considering him having chronic kidney diseases which may necessitate dialysis. His medicines need a change after a checkup.
