Eggs are a good source of protein for every one, that is those who like to take. For a diabetic person also they are good. You may take 2 to 3 eggs per day. Again the requirement depends on any special workout if one does, because protein need may be more. Thanks.

In type 1 diabetes, the pancreas can't make insulin. The body can still get glucose from food, but the glucose can't get into the cells, where it's needed, and glucose stays in the blood. This makes the blood sugar level very high. With type 2 diabetes, the body still makes insulin.

Sudden blurring of vision in diabetic you should rule out diabetic retinopathy. Please see the nearest ophthalmologist as early as possible. If there is any retiopathy changes he may need lasers or intravitreal injections. Some times diabetes itself can cause blurring of vision. You should keep strict control of blood sugar.

Bhuvanaji, if your mother diabetes and if it has been detected late in life, then it is most likely to t2 dm. This is a familial condition, meaning if parents have it, then children are likely to get it. But it is also a preventable disease. You can prevent it by adapting a modified life style, which means: regular exercise for more than 1 hour a day, maintaining normal weight, taking a balanced and restricted diet, giving exact calories based on ideal body weight and extent of daily exercise.
