Hi, i've had a kidney infection as a result of an untreated uti since last tuesday. Had a stabbing pain, got an intramuscular injection and fekt good since. Got prescribed a 7 day course of amoxicillin and been taking it as prescribed. Yesterday, after about 5 days of no issues, I started feeling a dull ache in the same kidney. I will be taking my last amoxicillin pill tomorrow and have a check-up at my urologist's on wednesday, but i've been feeling uneasy about it. Could it mean that the infection has not responded properly to the treatment? Or perhaps just a random residual ache? Thanks.

You should have a urine test - re, me and culture sensitivity 2 weeks aftr the last antibiotic pill to know whether the infection has responded to amoxicillin. Additionally, tab flavoxate 1 tab tds fr 7 days orally and syears potrate mb 2 tsf bd fr 7 days.

creatinine level depends on body muscle mass and lab reference value. Your value is just above normal. Repeat in same/ another lab and report for determining e-gfr for inference. Age reqd.
