Hello The wet gangrene has to be debrided and regular dressing done. This will fasten the healing process. Plus it has to be ensured that the blood glucose is well controlled. Wound culture has to be done and antibiotics given to treat any associated infection. Hence you need to meet a surgeon and an endocrinologist. Our stomach itself produces HCl which helps in digestion and breaking of food. But when too much of acid is produced then it creates problems. Aphthous ulcer are usually very chronic and at times difficult to treat. SInce the patient is diabetic it is absolutely essential that her blood glucose is very well controlled with FBG <100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c%<7.
As you have stated, many doctors have been consulted for the mouth ulcer problem, I am sure all the standard measures have been already tried. So in such a situation I will hardly have any new treatment available. Still I am suggesting ...more

Ulcers generally take 1-2 weeks to heal completely. Recurrent ulcers can be due to local mouth conditions such as rough teeth surface or rough mouth appliances or dentures n cheek bites. It can also b due to general nutrtional deficiency, digestion prob, work pressure n stressful lifestyle etc. Certain bacterial n viral infections also cause ulcers.
