As of now .you do not need to take medicine for diabetes. Do exercise avoid sugar and salt recheck sugar after 1 month.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the points mentioned. I understand that your mother has cough and she is on amoxy=clavulanic acid 625 and some cough syrup. However, there is no mention about the dosage of amoxy+ clav 625 (how many times a day). Plus whether the blood glucose is in good control or not. After thoroughly reading his usg report & the fact that he has diabetes my advice to you is:
1. The doctor's are right to have him undergo operation because if the stones are not removed right away they may further block the bile duct which will lead to jaundice or may go to intestines which can complicate into swelling of whole abdomen with pain vomiting and constipation.

Intermittent fasting is now popular for reducing weight but it has rigorous rules to be maintained & some basic health advice to be followed.
1. Yes you can help normal lunch as first meal. In fact I suggest you take a healthy balanced meal with equal parts of carbohydrates and green leafy vegetables along with protein like dal/ 1 whole egg/ legumes/ etc. Also include loads of fruits or you can have salads during the non fasting period.

But there is no mention of either fasting, pp glucose, or hba1c%, as well as any complaints that you are having. Hence, without knowing any information there is no way to comment any further. Get hba1c done for average values.
As per guildlines. More than 126 is diabetes
but sometimes it could be due to recent overdosing on sugars.
Try sugar free and fats free diet for 2 weeks and daily 20 min brisk walk. Repeat fbs .if still high need treatment otherwise, lifelong diet and exercise should be enough.
