Hello, thanks for the query. The. Glucose levels & hba1c% show you have excellent control. I could not get any clear information what medications you are taking. Glycinorm is metformin but no strength is mentioned. The tablet name or ingredient is not clear. So please come back with specific details plus your height & weight as well as day physical activity. Then I will be able to guide. Thanks.

Fasting sugar should be less than 100 and post meal less than 140. Medications depends on the trend if sugar. How often it is increased.
It's advisable to undergo hba1c test and consult a general physician if hba1c >6.5%

Yes you are prediabetic. Take precautions
eat less sugar rich foods, less fried and fatty foods.
More fibres and protein rich diet. Do minimum of 150 minutes of exercise per week.
If any doubt consult a general physician.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have gone through the information given. The glucose levels that are mentioned seem to be quite good. However, the way the numbers are given it is dificult to know which are fasting and which are pp levels. It would have been etter if you had presented the details in a tabular manner. Still the levels are quite good, suggesting there is good glucose control. Please look at the hba1c% if you have completed over 3 months with the drug that you have started.

The operation can be done provided your blood sugar is in control. Speak to your gynecologist about it in detail. She will be able to guide you.

You must increase your protein intake in the form of vegetable protein. Diet alone will not be of much benefit unless you add strength training to it. If you wish I can help you with proper guidance for diet and exercise.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. You have mentioned two different combinations 1) metformin plus glimiperide & 2) metformin & vildagliptin. Both these tablets have metformin. In some patients that drug tends to cause gastrointestinal upsets. In that situation patients are advised to take the tablets after taking food. So if you are taking the tablets before food then shift to after food. If you are taking after food only and still the gastrointestinal side effe...more
