Please consult an entire doctor and get treatment if it is chronic. Have audiometry test done to know his type of hearing loss. If hes having regular ear discharge surgically closing the hole is must.

Hi, how are you? I have gone through your complaint. The best solution for cleft lip and cleft palate is surgery only. Do not think about post operative minor drawbacks. It will be better to have operation get done by expert plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

I am 16 years old boy. I feels heaviness in my both ears. It becomes severe when I travel or I go out in these windy days. It sometimes pains a little also. When I swallows my saliva I feels like something is packing my ears. I consulted a ear doctor and got the following medication:- 1.clavam 375 .thrice a day .20 tablet 2.delcon plus. Twice a day. 20 tablet 3.sodium bicarbonate ear drop. 3 drops 4 times a day. 4. Waxonil active. 3 drops 4 times a day. I don't have ear wax in my ears. But then also the doctor have these drops I don't know why. Please give me information regarding this problem. And is these medications is enough to cure my problem or not? Your suggestions to cure it. Doctors are the face of God. Please help.

Health Query

There will be any side effects after tongue tie surgery like decrease of voice or dumb. Damage of salivary glands. How many days we must take rest. After how many days I can speech normally. If there any chance of reattachment of tongue like previously.

Hi. Tongue tie release is a very short procedure which is performed under local anaesthesia, for kids General anaesthesia may be preferable. There is no such side effects and the chance of reattachment is near nil. Just who should keep proper oral hygiene. Do regular saline gargling post surgery.
