Good evening sir,
whole legumes, pulses and fruits are good source of potassium. But it not like that we need to restrict potassium intake for all kidney patients. Low potassium diets are recommended for kidney patients whose serum potassium levels are higher than normal. I would suggest you consult a clinical dietitian to plan a diet chart for the concerned patient.

Constipation is the mother of many diseases so you should must focus on normal bowel movements
1.avoid any grains, oily food, fried food in morning & instead of this take fruits as a breakfast upto 400 to 700 grms (2-4 types or local, seasonal)
2.take one big size plate aaprox 350 gms of salad befor meal both lunch & dinner
3.reduce oil & salt in meal
4.avoid heavy weight lifting or straining to body
5.take plenty of water & juices.
