hii Rachelle....can you share some pics of that teeth which is going for extraction...with the gums region and face region... sometimes swelling comes due to increased infection or tissue response..and sometimes due to allergic reaction...share the pic so it will be easier to guide you better

Hi lybrate-user, yes you need root canal treatment and capping done. It is not a dire emergency but for looks purpose get it done as the conditions in the country improve.

If the teeth is mobility you can get extracted or if the teeth is strong you cannot get extracted thank you.

. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better.
