Why Do Wisdom Teeth Gets Impacted?

Nowadays, the food we eat are finer, so our jaw bone grow smaller, but the size of our teeth remain the same. Wisdom teeth are the ones which come out the last. There usually will be inadequate room for their eruption. As a result, they grow impacted, making your more susceptible to dental issues like caries and inflammation. You have to visit a dentist and get a thorough check-up to find out whether your wisdom teeth need extracting or not. If so, have them removed in a timely manner, in order to prevent bigger problems down the road.

Genital Warts - How To Handle It With Ayurveda?

Warts are small fleshy growths on human skin, which can happen anywhere over the body and are usually harmless, although they could be unsightly and if growing in certain areas, may be painful. Genital warts belong to that variety. Most warts are caused by HPV or the human Papilloma virus and genital warts are no different.

Causes of Genital warts

Genital warts are usually contracted during sexual intercourse. During intercourse, tearing of skin and contact with an infected individual will pass of the virus to another person. This is how HPV is transmitted, which may result in genital warts. Other than being unsightly, genital warts can be painful if they are in position when they have friction against clothing and they may also obstruct the flow of urine requiring them to be removed expediently.

Treatment of genital warts in ayurveda

Ayurveda has some great remedies to cure this problem. Let us have a look at a few of them:

1. The onion and salt mixture remedy: This natural remedy has primarily two elements, which are onion and salt. To make this mixture you slice two onions, and sprinkle them with salt before leaving them overnight. In the morning, mash the onions into a thick paste and then pass it through a filter or sieve to extract juice. Apply this juice on the warts periodically for a few weeks until they either shrivel or fall off.

2. The garlic paste remedy: This is another easy remedy which if applied consistently can bring great results fairly quickly. In this method you need to take a few cloves of garlic, crush them to a paste, apply this paste on the warts, cover the affected area with a bandage and leave it for an hour. After an hour remove the bandage and wash of the area. Repeat this for a few weeks and you should see the results.

3. The potato remedy: This remedy would require you to follow the steps multiple times a day. Take a potato and cut it into slices. Use these slices to rub the affected area. This has to be followed up multiple times a day, preferable at least 3 or more times. Doing this for 2 to 3 weeks will bring results where the warts will either shrink up or fall off.

Non-surgical procedures are much safer to undergo and maintain a long-lasting effect. If you want to know more about the procedure, then have a read through this article where we are going to discuss important information about non-surgical breast correction.

What is Non-Surgical Breast Correction?

Non-Surgical breast correction is also known as natural breast augmentation and in this process, the treatment is carried out by using the fat cells of the person's own body to improve the size and contour of the breasts. This process is carried out with the help of liposuction for harvesting the fells from different areas of the body like the abdomen, thighs or hips, which areas where significant fats are stored. These fat cells are extracted and transferred to the breasts for natural growth and mass.

However one must always remember that this process requires a doctor of good experience and skill to successfully carry out, along with different instruments. Generally, the correction process is carried out using a dose of local anaesthesia. Breast correction with the help of this non-surgical process is also a better alternative than using implants or any other surgical treatment.

Benefits of Non-Surgical Breast Correction

Now that you know what non-surgical breast correction means, here are the important benefits of choosing it over surgical procedures:

● Much safer option than traditional breast augmentation or operation which requires extensive operations to be conducted.

● There will be no breast implants, which might have a harmful effect if not placed the right way.

● No more of incision scars or marks will be left on the woman's breasts.

● It involves very minimal discomfort, a much faster recovery, and also a minimal time to complete.

● The corrected breasts look much natural and do not have a “fake” appearance to them.

● Liposuction enables you to reduce the amount of fat stored in other areas of your body as well. Therefore improving the overall appearance.

Who is Eligible For Non-Surgical Breast Correction?

Sadly, not everyone can undergo a non-surgical breast correction procedure because there can be certain risks if everyone is allowed to carry it out. Here are the few factors which will determine the candidates who will be able to get their breasts corrected this way:

● Be in good general physique and need to have a healthy metabolism as well.

● The candidate who wish to undergo this process should have no potential family history of breast cancer.

● The candidates will not be able to smoke throughout the recovery period.

So these are the factors which will determine who will be abel to undergo a healthy and safe non surgical breast correction technique with ease.

Oral Health - Ayurvedic Tips For Maintaining It!

Dental health might come across as a rather innocuous problem, but there is no reason for us to take it lightly. Dental health often functions as the index to an overall good health and it is extremely crucial for one and all to maintain the utmost hygiene level. Your teeth are arguably one of the most susceptible parts of your body wherein the slightest neglect can result in substantial damage.

Dental ailment pans across a variety of diseases which unless immediately arrested, can potentially inflict a lot of harm.  We all know about that dreaded toothache and it is not an experience that one would like reliving. Although dentists with their whole host of extractions, fillings and excisions often help in soothing those toothaches, for a more natural mode of healing and remedying dental disorders, one may turn to Ayurveda.  Ayurveda regards healthy lifestyle practices like balanced and wise dietary choices and diligent brushing as the most fundamental requisite for maintaining your oral health.

Some of the advisable methods for upholding oral hygiene can be enlisted as follows.

  1. Dant dhavani or brushing: As an alternative to the new age bristle brushes, Ayurveda recommends the herbal chewing sticks for the purpose of brushing.  As per Ayurveda, the effect is better in those sticks which have a bitter or an astringent taste. For this purpose, Neem, Licorice, Cutch, Arjuna, Milkweed or Fever Nut are best suited.
  2. Gargling with rock salt and mustard oil: For the upkeep of oral hygiene, it is a healthy practice to massage the gums with mustard oil and rock salt. One can gargle it off with warm water after leaving it for a span of five minutes. Persistent following of this method can bring considerable improvement to your oral hygiene. It is also a good way to mitigate the impacts of asthma and migraine.
  3. Jivha lekhana or tongue scraping: Pure metal is endowed with a lot of health boosting properties. Thus, instead of stainless steel tongue cleaners, Ayurveda advocates the use of scrapers made of gold, silver or copper. This helps in battling bad odor and enhances your sense of taste.

Benefits Of Clove In Relieving Tooth Pain

Clove is a commonly known spice, which is native to the Asian cuisine. They are dried flower buds of a tree from the family of Myrtaceae. These buds are known to be harvested originally in Maluku Islands in Indonesia. The cloves are aromatic and is known to lend a sweet and earthy flavor to food. Historically, cloves have been used both for culinary and medicinal uses. As a culinary spice, clove is used in meat dishes, curries, drinks and marinades. It is widely used in Indian, Chinese, African and South Asian cuisine.

Cloves have amazing medicinal properties. The bud has been widely recognized as a wonder bud packed with health benefits. In India, cloves are an important element of Ayurvedic medicine. It’s warm and soothing properties are beneficial for treating digestive tract problems. Clove oil is used in aromatherapy and can also be used as an ant repellent, due to its strong smell.

Clove oil is extracted from cloves and contains a chemical compound called Eugenol. This compound not only lends aroma to the spice, but also possesses analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic and anesthetic properties. It is for this reason, clove oil is used extensively in dentistry as an anodyne (A pain reliever). Its antiseptic and antibacterial properties are beneficial in treating infections and its anesthetic qualities are extremely helpful in relieving pain.

In painful teeth conditions like an abscessed tooth, infections, gum disease or even cavities, toothache can range from mild to sharp shooting and almost unbearable pain. The patient suffering from such conditions is usually put on antibiotics, thus, it is wise to recommend using Ayurvedic clove oil or Eugenol oil as it is commonly known for its pain relief properties. Eugenol helps in providing relief from pain by arresting the nerve tissues, causing a local anesthetic effect. However, it is strongly advised to use clove oil only under the guidance of a dentist.

Since Clove oil can alter blood sugar levels and is warm in nature and is not recommended for patients suffering from diabetes or bleeding disorders. Caution must be exercised as overuse of clove oil can cause nerve damage. If using at home, it is better to mix 2 to 3 drops of the clove oil along with half a teaspoon of olive oil and then apply the mixture to the painful area. The oil can also be applied using a cotton ball on the painful tooth with the help of tweezers; however, it is important that one should not keep the oil for more than 10 seconds on the affected area. It is also important not to swallow any oil as it can be harmful for your health. Drinking clove tea or chewing a clove till it releases its oil is much safer and effective way to use it, than using a clove oil.
