I understand your need for information about filling a cavity! to give you the most accurate answer about cost and time, i'll need some additional details:
1. Location of the cavity: knowing the location of the cavity (front tooth, back tooth, etc.) helps determine the complexity of the filling and its associated cost and time.
2. Size and depth of the cavity: similarly, the size and depth of the cavity influence the procedure's difficulty and length.

Hi
in many people, wisdom teeth don't break through the gum and grow out – or only part of them does. The reasons are multifactorial. This is more common in the lower jaw than it is in the upper jaw. The reason is usually that there isn't enough space for the tooth in the jaw.
Wisdom teeth are usually only removed if they cause problems, or are likely to in the future. (pain, swelling etc.) wisdom teeth that don't break through (sometimes also called “impacted” wisdom teeth) often don't ...more

I believe there are two parts to this question a) if you got the correct advice
b) if its possible.
I'll answer the second first. Pediatric dentists handle children as young as 3 days old. Rct in 4 years old is very common and possible. However the child's compliance can not be predicted. Hence ait is strongly advised to get the procedure done by a pediatric dentist/pedodontist.

I understand your discomfort with your swollen wisdom teeth preventing you from chewing properly. Here are some suggestions on precautions and medications that might help until you can see a dentist:
precautions:
avoid hot and cold food: opt for lukewarm or room-temperature foods that are soft and easy to swallow. Examples include mashed potatoes, soups, yogurt, smoothies, and scrambled eggs.
Cut your food into small pieces: make chewing easier by cutting your food into bite-sized pi...more
