Wisdom teeth usually make their appearance between the ages of 17 and 21, though it's possible for them to push through earlier or later. Referred to as your "third molars," these four teeth begin to push through the skin like any other tooth, which can cause pain. However, wisdom teeth are much more likely to grow in at an incorrect angle – even sideways – causing impaction that can radiate this pain to the teeth in front of it. Kindly get it extracted as soon as possible.

You should get an opg done. This will help evaluate the amount of decay, the position of your tooth roots as well as proximity of the roots to the underlying nerve. Then the decision can be taken whether to get it removed or not. Kindly consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the same.

I do visit dentist per year once at least. So in 2019 during my covid treatment, I had some complications of palate as well as below my tongue near lower right wisdom teeth. Co incidentally my dentist (oms) he is the person who treated me for my oral issues, than he suggest me after recovering from all issues in 2020 january that I should quit smoking. I followed that and completely smoke free since than. Later in december 2021 I have noticed slight color change near upper left molar and few ulceration in january 2022. I called my dentist and he prescribed me some vitamins, oral gel and asked me to visit him in next 3 weeks. I checked my mouth on 2 feb 2022 and saw ulcers gone and redness also going away but not completely. He also checked me on 4 april as my pre scheduled wisdom teeth removal day (i had a impacted wisdom teeth) he said its ok now do not take stress and on 13 april ge removed my suture from removed teeth area. Later while brushing I noticed the redness again occurred in the same area but this time I cal feel very tiny ball thing with. Ulceration occurs and fade away, this is happening since 3 may. He advice on call for an opg and to visit him. But in my mind I am not able to stop being anxious this time. He sent me a digital copy of advice slip for opg so that I can get opg done and visit him. His remarks as redness seen medial to teeth 8 (ul)

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need coronoplasty (smoothen teeth edges) along with multivitamin cap, for five days in the morning after meals & antiseptic ointment or gel (turbocort) on the area of ulcer until then. Mouth sores are common and rarely cause complications. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. If you are concerned, or...more

Hello lybrate-user.
Yes at times it does happen that grafted bone does not grow 100% & hence your tooth is still weak. You can either wait & check if the bone healing improves or you can get a smile design done which will improve your smile to some extent. It is not an alternative to braces but in some cases smile design gives better result than braces.
