Ice. Use an ice pack or cold compress on your foot for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. This is especially beneficial at the end of a long day or when you’ve spent a lot of time on your feet. Or, roll a frozen water bottle under your foot. This method incorporates a bit of massage, relieving tightness in the bottom of your foot.

Seems presently you have a cute excarebation of ra. You might need a short course of nsaids but keep on continuing the medicines you are taking. Better to consult an orthopaedicians who will see your knee. And decide whether nsaids will suffice or you need to increase the dosage of dmards you are taking.

I would like to see all the medicines you are taking. Usually, your doctor would have prescribed more than one drug for ra. Crp, ra factor and serum complement levels are a good resource to monitor response to therapy. Continue seeing your rheumatologist till the pain settles completely and your blood reports are normal.

You can go for ultrasound therapy for about 30 minutes which will help you to heal the knee. You can protect your knee with knee cap, provided you don't damage the knee further.
