Klebsiella pneumoniae is a difficult infection to treat because of the organism's thick capsule. Klebsiella is best treated with third- and fourth-generation cephalosporins, quinolones, or carbapenems. Monotherapy is just as effective as a combination treatment in klebsiella pneumoniae because newer agents are used.

There is no drug therapy that can cure mf. The only potential cure for mf is allogeneic stem cell transplantation. But this procedure is risky for older patients and those with other health problems. Because mf primarily affects older adults, a stem cell transplantation is not a treatment option for most mf patients.

Its unfortunate that your sister is suffering with blood cancer. As per history she might having cml, and receiving imatinib for treatment. Imatinib is known to cause musculoskeletal pain.
