You shld rush down to dentist and get it fixed. If it is just a part of the tooth you just have to get simple procedure called tooth bonding. If it has reached till nerves then you mite required root canal treatment. Dentist may take xray for further diagnosis.

You can use some glycerine over that area. In case it pains kindly visit dentist. To understand the clinical situation. And take medications/treatment accordingly.

Kindly see a dentist at the earliest. He will first make a bite-guard after which he/she will assess the cause for grinding and help you correct the same. Some common causes of grinding - stress, improper fillings/crowns with high-points (bite not set properly) etc.

You may need splinting of the fractured tooth or RCT with capping or extraction of the tooth depending upon the extent of damage to the tooth.

Crack in the tooth is not normal. So get a xray done and make sure that you get it treated so that it shouldn't get worst. I think dentist will advice for root canal therapy and a cap for that tooth. So get it done and avoid bone loss in that tooth region.
