The most common cause of watering eyes among adults and older children is blocked ducts or ducts that are too narrow. Narrowed tear ducts usually develop as a result of swelling or inflammation. If the tear ducts are narrowed or blocked, tears will not drain away and will build up in the tear sac.

Retinopathy of prematurity (rop) is an eye disorder caused by abnormal blood vessel growth in the light sensitive part of the eyes (retina) of premature infants.
Rop generally affects infants born before week 31 of pregnancy and weighing 2.75 pounds (about 1,250 grams) or less at birth. In most cases, rop resolves without treatment, causing no damage. Advanced rop, however, can cause permanent vision problems or blindnes.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you most often, your eyes will tear up and wash out the culprit. If that doesn't happen, find a clean sink or another source of clean water and a towel. Fill up your hands (after you wash them!) and flush water in your eye for a few times. Take a towel, pat dry and see if the pain and object have gone away.

A xanthelasma is a soft, yellowish, fatty deposit that forms under your skin. It's not harmful, but in rare cases it may be an indicator of possible heart disease. That's why it's a good idea to have it checked by your doctor or a dermatologist.
