Both are same, one take any one with which the patient is comfortable. Rtacaps need more force/lung power to inhale and if your inspiratory capacity is less then inhalar will be better.

Pulmonary function test is used to detect different respiratory disorders. What we measure through this test is certain parameter like FEV1, FVC, PEFR FEV1/FVC etc.

A 2 year child will not have copd. Can be asthma. Do not go by advise of somebody for your child. Consult a child specialist to confirm asthma.

COPD can never be cured. It can be controlled and the treatment is directed to have symptomatic relief and to prevent progression of the disease.
He will require clinical examination and a Spirometry test to decide on the need of inhalers.
Regular deep breathing exercises and limb exercises help a lot.

Steam inhalation can better or worsen the situation. It is individual variation and you can try. Deep and slow breathing do help.

Asthma a ch inflamatory dis of airways , can start at early age, can be intermittant and relieved by use of bronchodialators. COPD , also a ch inflamatory dis of airways, usualy occurs in smokers, or due to occupational dust exposure, after age 55 and gradually progressive.
