Sternon-s had steroid + keratolytic agents, which is prescribed in specific scalp condition, not a good treatment option, if you have dandruff (sebborhiç capitis). 1st diagnosis is important then treatment are given accordingly. Better you consultant dermatologist, till then do not use hair oil, use shampoo thrice a week.

I you wish to stop steroid after 2 days of use you can without tapering it. Usually when given on a longer duration steroids' require tapering. It is always advisable to follow your consulting doctor and complete to course so that you do not any issues with your skin condition.
