these antibiotics are not needed for a viral fever. Antibiotics work against a bacteria and are harmless for viruses.

Do you have any other symptoms like burning sensation or pain during urination, pain ,any discharge from genitalia, pain at any other site, rashes ,or any ulcer.

Also get tested for pfhrpii and pldh rapid diagnostic tests for malaria and igm elisa for dengue. If these are negative typhoid, leptospirosis and scrub typhus are the next common causes.

Please note that viral fever in on the go now.
However blood test for -- malaria dengu typhoid needs to be done for sure.
Beside that urine test for routine and culture needs to be done
continue with present medicines as of now.

Do not worry about it. If fever is coming down and you have no other symptoms not to worry. It will get better.
