There is no cure for hypothyroidism but treatment can keep the condition in control and you can lead a normal life. Treatment of hypothyroidism has only one option which is thyroid replacement medication (synthetic drug for example levothyroxine). Meanwhile there are few various options for treating hyperthyroidism.
