Colour blindness is of various types, mostly commonly red green. Complete colour blindness is rare, mostly its partial loss only.
It depends on colour vision qualitative tests like hue test etc to know the exact loss.
Based on these tests different medical board have different criteria according to different speciality. You must undergo these tests and then your eligilibity will be determined.
